Can I change my program once I have applied?
If your goals or interests change, it is possible to modify your program.
- If you have applied for a program that no longer fits your goals and interests but have not completed your registration, speak with your Admissions Advisor about updating your program before you are registered.
- If you have completed your enrollment/registration for a program, but your first semester has not yet started, contact your Admissions Advisor. Your advisor will help update your academic plan and work with the Registrar's office to make the necessary changes. Please be aware that changing your program after registration may require you to complete new enrollment paperwork, and any course materials/books you have already received may need to be shipped back to ACHS so that new materials can be re-sent.
- It is our goal to ensure that you are comfortable with your program before you start classes so that you can focus on your assignments and projects. However, if you feel strongly that the program you selected during the Admissions process was not the right decision, contact your Admissions Advisor andyour Student Services Advisor as soon as possible, but do not discontinue your current courses until further notice. It is possible to change your program after starting, but there is a higher risk of the disruption impacting your ability to be successful. Also, depending on where you are in the semester, you may be subject to ACHS's refund policy and be responsible for the balance of any classes you have attended.
