If you are unable to obtain your transcript from a previous institution because of an outstanding balance or any holds on your academic record, you can request a letter from the institution confirming that they are unable to provide the transcript at this time. This letter can then be submitted to your admissions advisor or the ACHS Registrar at registrar@achs.edu.

It's important to note that we cannot accept screenshots or any other documentation directly from the student.

Important Update: As of July1, 2024, new regulations are in effect that prevent institutions from withholding transcripts for credits paid for with Title IV aid. If your credits from a previous institution were paid for using Federal Title IV funds, and there is a hold on releasing your transcripts, please contact your Admissions Advisor at ACHS who can provide a letter outlining the new regulations that can be relayed to the previous institution's Registrar for review. Several states including New York, California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Connecticut, and Oregon have already created bans on holding transcripts in order to promote the advancement and employability of graduates.
